It seems that one of the popular historical romance tropes these days are spy romances. And this one involves a noble with missing papers and a twin doing dubious deeds. The heat level is sweet to sensual, with one consummated scene at the end which felt very tacked on. However, the story itself was delightful and a good diversion for a few hours. The “spy” element seems muted compared to the rest of the story, and I much liked the cast of characters, both the hero and heroine as well as the secondary characters.
Fans of historical romance will enjoy this story.
